The Passion Element of a Goal

What is your passion? You have to be passionate about a goal. There is no other way to success unless you want to do or accomplish something. Until you can feel this passion, a highly set goal will remain elusive.
Consider the smoker who says he wishes to quit. The smoker may be very intelligent and knowledgeable about the consequences of smoking. Also, the goal to quit may entail many aids to help overcome the obstacles in the smokers path to freedom. One thing the smoker must have is a passion to achieve this plan for quitting.

What is so important about the passion element? Passion is the emotion that drives a human being to do and act on something. Can passion get out of hand? Of course! That is why your goal must be realistic. Passion will help you fight the negativity that inevitably will be presented to you when certain people are aware of your goals. So keep that in mind when you are in the early planning stages. Many may think they are helping, but try to be around those that encourage you.
You know when you are passionate. Yet you could be passionate about starting an online business, but not what you are actually selling. That's why you need to drill down on a planned goal. This is where the defining of your goal comes in. Once you define the goal and are passionate about it, you can start to build a pathway through what would otherwise be a forrest of obstacles, and inevitable failure. Unfortunately, that is what leads people off the path to achievement on any goal. You don't want to be an added statisitic. Your passion will help maintain your determination on the rough days we all have.
Now its time to put that goal you are passionate about down on paper. Write it down. You will need a map to make a pathway to your goal.
